It takes a village of people to create a community. \u0100whitu Collective is made up of an amazing group of people who live and work in the local and surrounding area. We are passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment in a jurisdiction founded in tika, pono and aroha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we started this group we knew we wanted to build a community that was forward thinking, welcoming and could rely on each other. That meant being organised. And focused. So we sorted out our vision and structure and the go-getters of the group keep us focused and motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being part of a positive crew makes staying focused on the dream, learning new skills and contributing to a positive future so much easier.
It is nice to know that when the chips are down, or life is feeling a little tough, there is a support network who are willing come and pick you up, helping you to move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0100whitu Collective is the community that welcomed me when I had questions about issues that others did not seem capable of discussing rationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their ability to provide that safe space for open communication is because this community lives their values of tika, pono and aroha. Doing what is right with integrity, honor, love and respect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Helping to create then joining \u0100whitu Collective was an easy choice for us as we are passionate about the benefits people can enjoy from living as decentralised communities interconnected with other like minded communities to create trade and wellbeing for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe decentralisation fosters accessibility to high quality, clean food, supportive community based education and local Hauora \/ wellbeing facilities with essential skills and knowledge on our doorstep.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0100whitu Collective embodies these principles, while embraced by Tikanga which has become our code for living life. Tika, Pono me te Aroha.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We joined \u0100whitu Collective to enjoy conversation with like minded people concerned about the dysfunctional management of our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have for a long time known that our best hope of getting ourselves out of this mess is to acknowledge our ability to Self Determine and our capacity to exercise our customary rights based on the lawful integrity of Te Tiriti O Waitangi<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Becoming a member of the \u0100whitu Collective occurred quite naturally and progressively as a fundamental response to the intense global political overreach into our lives that began about 5 years ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was a spontaneous gathering of people with the same heart\/mind to live according to basic spiritual principles on the land\u2026something I have recognised Native peoples all over the world have done.  It was a wonderful gift to have found our Hapu with whom we have formed our beneficial alliance and stand with under He wakaputanga and Te Tiriti.

Joining the \u0100whitu Collective has been a life-choice and cements our beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve been saddened by the direction of our country, and felt something was missing so we searched for this void to be filled. Our journey led us to better understand the overarching M\u0101ori culture which also reflects our own values. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Collective allows us to be part of a community that is aware of the need to help society return to more socially healthy and respectful practices. Together our community strives to build a better tomorrow for future generations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I was attracted to \u0100whitu Collective as I could see it represented something different. People were thinking outside of the square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love the approach of operating within Tikanga and He wakaputanga, the framework that motivates and embraces the Collective. That Tikanga recognizes and identifies our strengths as independent and autonomous living flesh and blood beings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are now able to direct our own pathways with creativity and vision.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
